Study Trip to Barcelona

July | Tianrui He, 12th grade

From July 19 to 25, the 12th-grade class went on a week-long field trip to Barcelona. After our flight from Munich, we arrived in the Catalan metropolis around noon on Saturday, July 19. After checking in at the “Generator Barcelona” hostel, we explored the city and the beach on our own and got our first impressions of Barcelona. In the evening, we wrapped up the first day with a group dinner featuring authentic Spanish cuisine on the beach.

A special part of the class trip was our dinners together. Every evening, the students decided together which restaurant we wanted to eat at. Afterward, the entire grade gathered for dinner together to enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine. These evenings together gave us the chance to reflect on the day, get to know each other even better, and share many wonderful moments. As a result, the sense of camaraderie within our grade was noticeably strengthened.
