An open smile, a good mood, and plenty of curiosity – Wang Zihan is one of those Steinerinnen who are quickly taken to heart. At the same time, she is a rather quiet personality who follows everyday life at Stein with great attention and pursues her goals with great seriousness and commitment. Anyone who gets to know Zihan better experiences a young woman who is open-minded and helpful.
Zihan came to Stein for a trial week over three years ago. The decision in favor of the boarding school was then made together with her family, and she has been part of our school family since the 10th grade.
In the video interview, Zihan tells us what she particularly appreciates about Stein, why physics is one of her favorite subjects, who counts among her personal “superheroes,” and what she would like to do after her Abitur.
Who is your Steiner superheroine?
It is hard to say who the superhero is because many people are my heroes. For me, for example, Ms. Levannier would be one of them because she always has an open ear for us and supports us in difficult moments.
What is your favorite event in the Steiner calendar?
My favorite event in the Steiner calendar is the trip to Austria to Lake Attersee, because it is always beautiful there to sit by the lake and do many activities, for example kayaking or simply tug-of-war. We always have a lot of fun there and simply enjoy the summer time – lying there in the sun.
Library or sun deck?
That is a very good question. I would say: sun deck. Because you can simply relax there and also go there together with friends.
