From February 23 to 25, the annual Altsteiner Ski Cup took place, an event that not only promotes sporting competition, but also community bonding between Steiner and Altsteiner. The weekend began on Friday evening with a pleasant dinner, where the participants met for the first time and got in the mood for the upcoming event.

After the official event, we had time to talk with the Altsteiners, not only about personal matters, but also about our shared appreciation for Stein and what it means to belong to this privileged group. These conversations helped to deepen the connection between Steiner and Altsteiners and forge new relationships.

On Saturday morning, we started at 10 a.m. with the ski races, which offered a competitive atmosphere and lots of fun. Participants of all ages competed fiercely on the slopes, while the spectators cheered enthusiastically. After the races, we enjoyed a delicious lunch in a cozy hut on the mountain, where we fortified ourselves and enjoyed some time together.

The highlight of Saturday evening was undoubtedly the dinner together, followed by the award ceremony. In a warm atmosphere, the winners were honored and received well-deserved recognition for their achievements. The organizers of the Ski Cup as well as our overall manager Mr. Ziegler addressed moving words to the participants and emphasized the importance of community and cohesion.

On Sunday morning, we all met up for brunch together before finally saying goodbye to each other and setting off on our journey home.

To sum up, the weekend was a wonderful time in which we developed our sense of community and strengthened the bond between Steiner and Altsteiner. The Altsteiner Ski Cup was not only a sporting event, but also a celebration of togetherness.
