Stein proudly presents: Lilli Höfer & Laura Linnemann
We are very pleased to introduce two more day students to you. Both have been attending Schloss Stein since 5th grade. We hope you enjoy the interview!
We are very pleased to introduce an international student from our school family to you today. Stein proudly presents: Yuhan Wu.
Anyone who gets to know Yuhan Wu quickly discovers his open, humorous nature and the great warmth with which he engages with the community. Yuhan is from China and has been part of the Steiner School and Boarding School family since 2022. He is currently preparing for his Abitur in the summer of 2026.
In Stein, he has discovered new passions—most notably skiing, which has become an integral part of his life. Yuhan also plays badminton and table tennis, among other sports, and competes with great dedication for the boarding school at various boarding school Olympics. He finds balance in music, especially in playing the violin. With his attentive nature and subtle sense of humor, he is a reliable point of reference within the school community for many of his classmates, especially new students.
What’s your favorite event on the Steiner calendar?
“My favorite event is the ski weekend. As a ski fan, it’s just great to be able to ski for three days in a row.”
Table tennis or badminton?
“That’s table tennis, then, because I’ve already won a few medals for Stein at the boarding school Olympics.”
Chemistry or physics?
“Physics, because from an early age I wanted to know where everything comes from and how the world works.”
“We always hope that our international students will open themselves up to our culture—and to the diverse cultures within the school—both intellectually and with their hearts. That is exactly what Yuhan Wu has been doing for years. What’s more, he also encourages his classmates to embrace this openness. He is an outstanding student with a subtle sense of humor and genuine leadership qualities. It is a great pleasure to guide him on his path to the Abitur. His dancing skills—and above all, his enjoyment of it—continue to improve from Winter Ball to Winter Ball.”
Sebastian Ziegler | General Manager
“Yuhan is a very open-minded student with a wide range of interests. He enjoys debating, is rarely satisfied with just one answer, and loves to be ironic. During his time at Stein, he has also made good academic progress.”
Christiane Paulig | DaF teacher
“Yuhan is a special boy with a lot of potential and acumen. It was fun to work with him because he always wanted to get to the bottom of things and enjoyed learning or experiencing something new. He achieved what he did mainly through his own efforts. Hats off to him!“
Anita Gnad | DaF teacher
