An Afternoon of Sport at Stuntwerk Trostberg

October 2026 | Martina Levannier, Educator

On German Unity Day, 25 students spent two varied and action-packed hours together at Stuntwerk Trostberg, a large trampoline and bouldering hall “just around the corner“. It quickly became clear that there was no chance of boredom here! The hall offered numerous opportunities to try things out, discover new things, and have fun together.

On the various trampoline areas, the students were able to jump to their heart’s content and put their sense of balance to the test. The interactive games, which required skill, reaction speed, and of course a healthy dose of ambition, were particularly enjoyable. The obstacle course over the trampolines was also used extensively. Things got quite athletic during trampoline basketball: with great effort, everyone tried to sink the ball into the basket mid-jump. Even the smallest ones managed a “dunk“.

In the trampoline area, there was also a well-sprung floor gymnastics surface where the students could try out a few things: handstands with and without flips, cartwheels, and forward rolls with plenty of momentum. Acrobatic skills were also on display. Isabella and Gabriela were particularly impressive, leaving everyone amazed with their backflips and somersaults. Yutong and Zichen, as well-trained figure skaters, demonstrated several double jumps. Which ones? Well… that remained open to interpretation. But it looked fantastic! What the girls (!!) showed there was truly admirable. Great body control and a lot of courage!

The bouldering hall also proved to be a true paradise—for beginners and experienced climbers alike. On routes of varying difficulty, everyone could climb according to their own abilities, experiment, and face new challenges. It was not just about strength, but also about skill, concentration, and the right technique.

Those who did not feel like trampolining or climbing were allowed to “chill“—albeit without a mobile phone 😉. So, some students simply sat together, chatted, and enjoyed their time together. This, too, was a lovely part of the excursion and showed that community does not always require action.

After two intensive hours, everyone was finally quite exhausted—and above all, hungry.

Conclusion: plenty of exercise, a lot of fun, and time for good fellowship.
