Lilli Höfer and Laura Linnemann have been part of our school family since 5th grade. As day students, they have long been an integral part of our daily school life. With their natural demeanor, their dedication, and their diverse talents, both have been enriching our vibrant school community for years.
Whether at school events playing the piano, electric guitar, or singing in the choir—Lilli and Laura always provide the perfect musical backdrop. While Lilli enriches numerous events with her musical talent and piano playing, Laura inspires others with her athletic drive and has successfully represented Schule Schloss Stein at the Boarding School Olympics on multiple occasions.
In the interview, the two talk about what they particularly enjoy about their daily lives as day students, which places and events they appreciate most in Stein, and why they’ve felt so at home here for many years.
“Lilli and Laura are great examples of ninth-grade students with a wide range of interests. Both are involved in music outside of school, and both regularly participate in events that aren’t mandatory for day students or half-boarders—which, of course, makes us happy. We’ve also had the pleasure of seeing them showcase their musical talents at events such as our Christmas party, the Julklapp, and elegant dinners at school.”
Sebastian Ziegler | General Manager
“Quiet, attentive, and very musical—Lilli shows that you don’t have to be loud to achieve great things.”
Veronika Koch | Principal
“A ball in her hand—and Laura is in her element. She’s always there, full of motivation and joy.”
Veronika Koch | Principal
“Laura is both musically talented and, thankfully, consistently involved in various projects. With her lively and clever personality, she is a great asset to our school community.”
Robert Rathwallner | Music Teacher
“Lilli is a bright and very musical student. Her piano skills have always added a special touch to Steiner events, for which I am very grateful.”
