We are delighted to introduce our Deputy Head of Boarding today. Stein proudly presents: Christian Matyszok – primarily responsible for the boys in the upper school in boarding, a qualified social pedagogue and a licensed child and adolescent psychotherapist. Christian leads and organises the team of boarding educators and coordinates our students’ extracurricular structures.
Gym or library?
There is no either/or: it has to be both. I like the atmosphere in the library and love browsing through books. Most of the time I read several books at once. Books enrich, inspire, help you grow, take you out of your comfort zone, change your perspective on the world – I wouldn’t trade that for an either/or. The gym, or sport in general, is also an integral part of my life.
What is your favourite place here in Stein?
In summer, I like the atmosphere on the sun deck. The scent of freshly cut wood, the cooling canal, the conversations with the kids. It’s like a mini holiday, and everyone is relaxed.
