We are very pleased to introduce our dedicated colleague Korbinian Kollmeier and to show how diversely he contributes to Stein – in class and beyond.
We are delighted to present the first installment of our new interview series today. Stein proudly presents: Nikolaus Wamsler — soon-to-be Abitur graduate, passionate Steiner.
Once a month, we would like to introduce a Steiner to you on our blog and share our enthusiasm for our great Steiner family with you.
How would you describe Stein in three words to someone who has never been here?
Familial. Secure. Formative.
What are you looking forward to most during the year?
The spontaneous moments — whether it’s skiing in winter or paddling, swimming, or cycling in summer.
What would a Steiner superhero be called, and what would their superpowers be?
That doesn’t even need to be fictional: our house parents are our superheroes, who make it possible for us to live on Stein the way we do and allow us to do the things we do.
Which Clubs do you take part in and why?
I’m very sports-oriented, so: almost only sports! Football, basketball, tennis, and in winter, skiing, because that’s possible here at Stein too (and that’s not a given). It’s a great balance alongside everyday school life.

We are very pleased to introduce Wang Zihan to you. Zihan has been a boarding school student in Stein since the 10th grade.
A year at Stein can change a lot. One meets new people, gathers special experiences and grows into a community. And mostly a school year becomes a connection that reaches far beyond.
We are very pleased to introduce two more day students to you. Both have been attending Schloss Stein since 5th grade. We hope you enjoy the interview!
