We are very pleased to introduce Wang Zihan to you. Zihan has been a boarding school student in Stein since the 10th grade.
New school year, new faces, new stories: This is how we begin the 2026/27 school year together.
A year at Stein can change a lot. One meets new people, gathers special experiences and grows into a community. And mostly a school year becomes a connection that reaches far beyond.
When Ilse Wiskott founded the Landschulheim Stein in October 1948, it was not only a school that came into being, but a community whose bond was to extend far beyond the years spent together at the school.
A journey back in time to 1965.
The school year 2025/26 was a year full of new experiences, exciting school projects, and special encounters. Here’s a brief look back.
The seminar paper by Jien He, now a high school graduate, focuses on the world’s oceans as the foundation of life and the setting for global crises. Using international shipping as an example, the paper illustrates the central role the oceans play in the economy, the environment, and the sustainable development of our future.

Robert Kopp looks back on a 46-year career with the Bavarian Police. In his presentation, he will also report on personal experiences from his long period of service and show what lies behind these topics when they suddenly become very concrete.
We are offering an exciting vacation camp for children and young people aged 12 and over during the 2026 fall vacations.

We cordially invite you to visit our traditional Advent market on the 1st weekend in Advent! Around 35 lovingly designed stalls offer a wide selection of culinary delights and handicrafts.
On October 6, our students attended the performance at the Salzburg State Theatre.

Moving into the boarding school or starting as a day student marks the beginning of a new phase of life. A perfect icebreaker is a hike in the beautiful Chiemgau region.
A new chapter begins – and it should start peacefully. On September 12th, we welcomed our new students and their families to Stein.
With this well-known mnemonic verse, the students were welcomed to the exhibition “ROMANS – Faces of a World Empire” at the Lokschuppen in Rosenheim.
During the final week of the previous academic year, the entire Q12 undertook an excursion to Landshut, led by Mr. Glotz and accompanied by Ms. Kraus.
